POLYCAT
is a clay suspension stabilized by the cationic copolymer MAX HIB.
The components of the drilling fluid are classified as hazard class 4. The use of polycationic drilling fluid «POLYCAT» does not regulate the value of conditional and plastic viscosity, dynamic shear stress, pH of the environment and the concentration of polyvalent cations of calcium and magnesium. Due to the high bactericidal properties of the cationic reagent, the biodegradation of polysaccharides is prevented. The cationic copolymer MAX HIB simultaneously functions as a clay suspension stabilizer, filtration reducer, thinner, bactericide, swelling inhibitor and clay dispersion. The MAX HIB reagent provides a low concentration of colloidal fraction in the solution and improves wellbore stability. Polycationic drilling fluid «POLYCAT», unlike traditional systems, is not subject to salt and polysalt coagulation: with increasing salt concentration, control of the solution's performance is simplified without additional costs for reagents. Polycationic drilling fluid «POLYCAT» does not deteriorate its properties and performance under the aggressive influence of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide. Polycationic drilling fluid «POLYCAT» is compatible with cement slurries. Polycationic drilling fluid «POLYCAT» is not compatible with lignosulfonates, humates, silicates and other polymers and surfactants with pronounced anionic properties.
